SCANRA 3
Saturday, 1st November 2025
SCANRA returns to haunt the Workman’s Main Room as part of the Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival, after selling out every year since its inception. SCANRA is an immersive night of music, myth and storytelling unearthing the ancient Irish origins of Samhain through the voices and visions of contemporary creators.
Hosted by poet and visual artist Jo Morrigan Black, this uncanny cabaret features live performances from award-winning artist Venus Patel and renowned seanchaí Eddie Lenihan. The night also includes spell-binding sets from psychedelic folk artist Elaine Malone and mesmerising, multi-instrumental duo Anenome, along with Tarot character drawing with divination artist Vlada Novicka, and lots of other sneaky surprises along the way.
SCANRA is not your average Hallowe’en costume party. While dressing up is encouraged, you’re invited to bring your curiosity, imagination (and hold your nerve) as the Workman’s Main Room is totally transformed into a haunted tapestry of the macabre.
This hugely-popular festival favourite returns for another fiendishly fun twist of the dial. Presented by Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival and SCANRA, in collaboration with Workmná, who are dedicated to showcasing female and non-binary artists.
This event is part of Night Bites at Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival in association with the Night-Time Economy Advisor.
Please Note: This year’s venue is the Workman’s Main Room, with entrance on The Quays. Early arrival is highly encouraged to this evening of curiosity…
