Fiadh Rua Gregg at The Dublin Jazz Co-op
The Vintage Room, December 29th, 7.30pm, €10
Irish born Vocalist, teacher and composer, Fiadh Rua Gregg is a bright up-and-comer within the Dublin music scene. While continuing to play throughout Ireland in numerous ensembles and bands, Gregg is currently writing and performing her own music which she classes as ‘ethereal soul’. She is also one fifth of the band Shy Mascot.
Luke Howard (piano), Keith Tobin (bass) and Andrew O’Farrell (drums) are quickly becoming some of the most sought after musicians on the scene, providing an energetic freshness with a tasteful edge. Having collaborated on various projects around Dublin, this evening marks the first performance for this quartet, doing what these jazz-heads do best!
Join us for an evening of classic jazz standards from the likes of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Jobim. In this delightful cosy setting, it’s the perfect time of year to gather with friends and family to listen to some forgotten (and well-remembered) gems of the Great American Songbook.
Join us! December 29th from 7.30pm. Music starts at 8pm. Admission is €10
