The Incredible sound of Joyce & the Sonic Gypsies. A fusion of great thoughtful observant song writing carried along with groove, rhythm and humour which is we think is a magic mix .. Try some J&SG medicine for healthy musical lifestyle ..Food for your soul n feet!

Evelyn Campbell is a socio-political song writer and folk artist who uses activism as the platform for sharing her work. The hope is that through the songs awareness is raised on justice and equality issues and the corporate dominance in our world.

This musical formation was initially birthed for practical reasons, as a cunning plan to get food, when sisters Ornait and Siomha Hennessy were travelling around Australia in 2015.
With a background in Irish folk music, they discovered that they were tapping into a very original sound-eclectic but melodic, current but with echoes of the old oral singing tradition. With audiences responding enthusiastically, the sisters started to think that maybe this was a survivalist musical duo – with legs. Now, back in Ireland, they are working on original music for an EP and will be gigging in a number of venues in the coming months.
