DFEi Presents: Onion Boys, Bioluminescence and Aaron Bowden

DFEi SE6 Sound Production students are proud to present an exciting evening of live music in aid of Childline. Taking place at the Workman’s Club on November 26th, tickets will cost you less than a pint at €5, with an option to donate more if you so desire. All proceeds will be donated to Childline, who do incredible work supporting and advocating for children and young people. Doors open at 19:00 and the music stops at 22:30.
Headlining on the night are Irish punk group Onion Boys. Mixing the sly, satirical wit of Irish storytelling with a flamboyant punch of punk rock, these lads create a raucous and immersive live experience. Their sound is clearly fueled by the spirit of 50s rock and icons like The Cramps, Jonathan Richman and Amyl and the Sniffers. The Onion Boys are guaranteed to put on a great show!
Kicking things off on the night is Aaron Bowden. Well known on the Dublin busking scene and fresh from his latest single ‘The Host’, he and his band will provide a dynamic performance that will set the perfect tone for the night. Next on the bill are Bioluminescence who have gained significant popularity from their debut single ‘Enter a Killer’. After their blistering headline show at the Grand Social in August, we are very excited to have them perform.
