FREDA KELLY
FREDA KELLY is a Dublin girl who moved to Liverpool as a young teenager and became a close friend of The Beatles. She saw the band playing live at the Cavern over 200 times and became their trusted secretary for over a decade. As George Harrison once pointed out – “Freda was there at the very beginning and she stayed until the very end.” The award-winning documentary GOOD OL’ FREDA perfectly captures the love and respect everyone has for this wonderful lady, and it’s a genuine honour to have her at the Dublin Beatles Festival for a public interview with TOM DUNNE on the afternoon of Saturday, November 4th.
