HAMBURG BEAT (UK)
HAMBURG BEAT are a no frills rock ‘n’ roll band from England. They wear leather gear and play the raw hits which The Beatles covered in Hamburg and Liverpool in the early 1960s – songs from classic rockers such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis and Carl Perkins. HAMBURG BEAT have appeared at the Cavern Club in Liverpool well over 60 times, and they have toured all over the UK, Germany, France, Holland, Finland, Norway and Belgium. This is their first ever appearance in Ireland and we can’t wait to see them ‘mach schau’ at the Workman’s. Get ready to dance!
LENIN & LIONEL
LENIN & LIONEL are songwriting brothers who originally come from India, but have been living in Dublin for many years. They are well known in Ireland for their close harmonies and excellent cover versions. They have played the Dublin Beatles Festival twice before and it’s great to finally get them on to the main stage at the Workman’s. These guys are class. (Also check out their original songs online. They have released two albums.)
