Ex Oh Promotions are excited to announce a special show with MT. Heads to launch their debut
EP “Windows Turned to Walls.” The show will also feature special guest – Dublin hip–hop icon
Skull the Pierre.
The EP launch follows the group’s debut single ‘Cranes’ released August 30th.
MT.Heads ( pronounced Empty Heads) are an upcoming force in the Irish music scene. They
are a strong five–piece filled with groove, complex yet catchy melodies and brass elements that
further enhance their live sound whilst still sounding unique themselves.
2024 is a huge year for them with the upcoming release of their Debut EP: ‘Windows turned to
Walls’, with it’s Debeut single ‘Cranes’ releasing August 30th.
This is following 2 previous 2024 releases, ‘Dirty Emeralds’ and ‘Nothing More’ with both songs
receiving high praise from RTE 2FM’s Dan Hegarty, debuting on RTE 2FM aswell as radio play
in the USA from iHeartRadio.
Over the past 2 years MT.Heads have achieved many accolades such as being crowned the
winners of the 2023 UCD Battle Of The Bands, making their festival debut at Sea Sessions
2023, playing sold out gigs in Whelans Main Stage as well as upstairs, Workmans Main Stage
and Cellar.
MT.Heads are an Alt Pop/Indie Rock band who are not afraid to create genre shifting music, for
fans of Easy Life, Dominic Fike, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, but still keep their own unique
sound throughout their discography.
They have a combined 30,000+ streams across platforms from their 4 debut singles and broke
to the forefront after their drummer played live with The Killers infront of 30,000 people at
Malahide Castle in 2022.
Pierre Miguel Fonseca aka Skull The Pierre is a Dublin–based musician, and overall creative Swiss
army knife from Stockholm. With a knack for the infectiously catchy and the brutally honest, he
specializes in Melodic, Alternative Hip–Hop.
