Sleepy Days
Recorded at Windmill Lane Recording Studios, the “Suburban Dystopia” EP tells the story of Sleepy Days’ beginnings, when the band moved from their respective home towns to Dublin City in pursuit of their dreams to make it as fully-fledged musicians. With each member of the band arriving alone and starting from scratch, they built up their new lives in Dublin, ultimately crossing paths with each other during their college days and cementing their newfound brotherhood by forming Sleepy Days.
As for the band themselves, Sleepy Days are an emerging indie rock band based in Dublin, made up of Conor Dwyer (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Michael O’Kane (lead guitar & backing vocals), Alex Ganje (bass) and Aaron Lacumber (drums). The band met while studying at BIMM Dublin, after a chance encounter found them rallying into the college’s recording studio to help rescue a mutual friend’s end-of-year project.
The Psychs
The Psychs are a five piece Dublin based band that take the sonics of 90s Industrial and 00’s Nu Metal and combines them with contemporary rock to create a fresh yet nostalgic sound.
Bedhead
Bedhead is an indie/alternative rock band, comprised of Glen McMahon (vocals), Cian O’Dowd (guitar), Shawn Legaspi (bass) and Brian Doyle (drums). Their evocative lyrics and melodies present raw emotion and dynamic instrumentation. Influenced by bands like Bloc Party, Mannequin Pussy and Twenty One Pilots, their energetic performances capture listeners with theatrical displays.
They have played various venues around Dublin such as The Grand Social, The Sound House, Bello Bar and even branched out to McHugh’s in Drogheda. Making their way throughout the Dublin music scene, they demand the attention of everyone in the room.
