David San Clair aka David O’Brien (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Piano) is a Louth/Dublin based musician. He performs with his very talented band consisting of Josh Hackett O’Reilly (Lead Guitar), Maya Clinton (Piano), Cam Teehan (Drums), Louis Younge (Violin, saxophone), Lorcan O’Donnell (Bass) and Katie Phelan (Backing Vocals).
David has performed in numerous venues across the Irish capital, including shows in Whelans Upstairs, The Button Factory and Sin É. His style is a blend between folk, rock and indie which provides a unique repertoire for audiences. David and his band all attend BIMM Dublin music college. This is where they first met and solidified their bond for playing music together.
David has already three releases out, ‘Promises’, ‘This Is How They Fought Me’, and new single ‘I Feel Alive’, which has recently hit streaming services back in September 2021. David records and produces all his music with the help from his band mates in the recording process.
David and his band are hoping to come back onto the live music scene after a long hiatus due to COVID-19, bringing new music and more styles to their current growing audience.
