First Fortnight
Banter- An Evening with Barry Hyde (Futureheads)
Barry Hyde was 19 when he first found success with The Futureheads. It was also the year he had his first manic episode. In what promises to be an intimate evening, the frontman behind hits such as Decent Days and Decent Nights will chat to Jim Carroll (RTÉ) and perform songs from Malody, his piano-driven solo album, written to “give an insight into the extreme emotional experience of those battling chronic mental health problems” and which he credits as a big part of his recovery.
