Behold the line up! THUMPER are an AMAZING noise-pop quintet from Dublin, delivering bubblegum pop through a wall of sonic death. With a reputation for raucous and frenzied live shows, and a penchant for howling feedback and pounding rhythm, each show is an exercise in unpredictability. THUMPER will bring their wildest year yet to a close with an explosive show full of special guests, surprises and totally weird vibes to our gaff and we can’t WAIT!
BICURIOUS are Gavin Purcell and Taran Plouzané; a confused, loud, instrumental and experimental Irish/French two-piece who are fast becoming renowned for their crazy live shows. Expect mosh pits, head-banging, riff-heavy sing-a-longs, live guitar loops, huge soundscapes, ranging from math-rock inspired riffs to jazzy chord progressions.
Also performing on the night is 22-year-old songwriter and musician JAMES McGOVERN, who gives some seriously emotive and sultry performances which are both visually and sonically arresting. Plus, Dublin 4-piece INHALER are sure to impress with their Joy Division / Echo & The Bunnymen inspired tunes.
We’ve got some savage DJ sets from OTHERKIN and FONTAINES D.C. who’ll be whipping you up into a 2018 worthy frenzy.
Plus, we’ve got our awesome resident DJs taking to the stage -gorgeous devils with banging tunes, the lot of ‘em – Trev, Louche, Rob Smith, Tony Bones, Ronan Considine, Domino Whisker, AJ Jenkinson and Sam Morrissey
They’ll be spinning their magic across Garage Bar and The Workman’s Club. If ya need a breather, you can pull up a saddle (seriously!) in Bison Bar & BBQ. They’ve got over 150 different types of whiskey, awesome cocktails and amazing bartenders. Grab a glass and take a little break – or stay on the dancefloor until the wee hours and say CATCH YA RAFTER to 2017 and a big HOWYAAAAA to 2018.
