Bodies
Bodies is a collaborative project based around composer/performer David Anthony McGeown and featuring members of other top Irish acts – Overhead, The Albatross, Kid Karate, Blooms, SquareHead and Roisin O. Significant influences include Radiohead, Brand New & Sigur Ros. Their first single, Nightmoves, released in late 2016 sets the template of atmospheric, vocal led tracks grounded by hypnotic percussion, and the accompanying video features Games of Thrones actor Eddie Jackson.
The band captured attention with an outstanding performance at Whelans Ones to Watch in January, and will release their debut album, Drench, in 2017.

Bob Skeleton
Bob Skeleton are a 4 piece Midnight-Pop band from Galway with influences including Miles Kane, Blossoms and Lana Del Rey. Intertwining late night grooves with shimmering melodies to create a dynamic blend of West Coast cool and Mancunian mood.
After a busy 2016 including a Saturday night headline slot at Whelan’s Summer One’s to Watch and The Roisin Dubh’s summer Shindig alongside Search Party Animal and Bitch Falcon, Bob Skeleton ended 2016 on a high with a headline Whelan’s Midnight Hour and a sold out gig in The Roisin Dubh in support of their debut EP ‘Shade’. 2017 has continued the momentum, opening for Otherkin in the Roisin Dubh and releasing their second EP ‘If This Isn’t Love’.
‘If This Isn’t Love’ was recorded in Furbo with Will O’Connor of Grounds for Invasion and Mastered by Carl Saff of Sub-Pop Records.
The group are currently finishing their third EP, due for release in late Spring.

“When you see this band live you get the distinct feeling you are watching something very special indeed” – Bettine McMahon (Knockanstockan)
Ruth
Ruth is a Dublin based artist, hailing from Co. Kerry. Having brought a classic sound with a modern twist to the Irish music scene, she has very quickly come to prominence within the music industry. Spring 2016 saw her support English band ‘This Is the Kit’ on their sold out Irish tour. Her debut single ‘Who Are You Living For?’ was featured on BBC Introducing, The Irish Times and RTÉ. She played a full-band set at Whelan’s Ones To Watch in Jan, where her anthemic songs with “early 1990s vibes, with a modernly bewitching touch” went down a treat. Summer 2016 saw the release of her single’s remix by Wastefellow premiere on Nialler9, who also premiered single ‘Queen Of The Con’ in October to much acclaim.
Having started her training as a classical musician at the age of eight, Ruth began composing her own songs on the piano when she was twelve, and has been honing her craft ever since. With conflicting interests in Hollywood film, classical and electronic music, she translates an eclectic mix of influences into one modern, cohesive sound. This has merited her an ever growing fanbase, as well as a high level of respect from her contemporaries. A natural performer, she boasts an energetic and enchanting set.
“We’re dealing with a singer of some potential here. Cronin’s vocals mark and measure the song with distinctive panache and gives its plaintive atmospheric veneer a real splash of emotional soul. One to watch out for as the year progresses” Jim Carroll – The Irish Times
“A fine slice of live band pop smarts” – Nialler9
