live tonite presents Cala Vento

Live Tonite is proud to present the Irish debut show of Cala Vento on October 9th from 7:30 pm at The Workman’s Club, Dublin.

The powerful duo from Empordà formed by drummer Joan Delgado and guitarist Aleix Turon, have spent the last decade carving out their place as one of the most essential bands in Spain’s alternative music scene. Known for their raw energy and emotional honesty, they’ve built their following the hard way: playing non-stop across the country, growing their audience show by show, and album by album.

Their fourth studio album, Casa Linda (Montgrí, 2023), marked a turning point in their career. The album’s critical acclaim and the success of their nationwide tour saw them selling out major venues in nearly every provincial capital while also reaching new listeners far beyond Spain’s borders. Now they are coming to Ireland for the first time presenting their acclaimed latest album, “Brindis” (Montgrí, 2025).

With lyrics that mix personal sincerity with sharp social commentary, Cala Vento have turned many of their songs into true anthems for a new generation of fans. More than just a band, they’re now a driving force in Spain’s independent music community running their own influential label, Montgrí, home to other standout acts like Lagartija Nick, Biznaga, Yawners, and Mourn.
