live tonite presents Ilan Amores
August 13th, 2025
Live Tonite is proud to present the Irish debut show of Ilan Amores on August 13th from 7:30 pm at The Workman’s Club, Dublin.
Ilan Amores is a groundbreaking artist redefining the boundaries of cumbia through a fusion of rock, punk, and electronic beats. Known for his poetic lyrics and captivating presence, he’s earned the admiration of icons like Pablito Lescano, Manu Chao, and Andrés Calamaro.
Raised in Misiones, Argentina, Amores is a multi-instrumentalist and seasoned composer rooted in the country’s vibrant indie scene. His sound — often compared to Clandestino-era Manu Chao — blends raw emotion with genre-defying rhythms. After years performing with bands like Argies and Harm & Ease, he launched his solo career with UNO (2017), followed by Chico Chico (2019), and the Bori Bori series (2021–2022).
Amores has released standout tracks like “Patoti,” “Tereré,” “El Ladrón,” and “Para Qué” (with Damas Gratis), culminating in the viral cumbia hit “Tiro Tiro” with Pablo Lescano. With a bold musical vision and storytelling at its core, Ilan Amores is the voice of a new generation.
