CÉILÍ w/ TRADITIONAL ARTS COLLECTIVE 20:00 – 22:00 hrs

SOMEWHERE 23:00 hr til late

Heads up, language lovers! Seachtain na Gaeilge is the largest Irish language festival – both in Ireland and around the world. It’s the biggest celebration of our native language and culture in Ireland and many other countries each year, and this year is no different. Seachtain na Gaeilge is a community festival and the community organizes the events. From music nights in the local pubs to historical tours through Irish in the country’s castles, there is an event for everyone.

The gang at The Workman’s Club and Mary’s Bar & Hardware are excited to get involved this year, and have put on a series of events from 6-8 March. Each event is free, so grab your pals, head along, practice your Irish – all the while having a brilliant time.

On Wednesday 6 March at The Workman’s Club head in to the CÉILÍ from 20:00. This is 2 hours of having the craic and getting your dance on. With The Traditional Arts Collective belting out tunes to get you going, this is going to be one mighty night. Beginners welcome. Following on from that, we have the legendary club night SOMEWHERE spinning the finest in indie anthems and disco hits from 23:00 til super late. Both these events are ABSOLUTELY FREE!

We’ve got lots in store in both venues – with chances to claim a gorgeous creamy pint of Guinness if you order as gaelige.
