:Panic :Over are (L-R) Dharesh McCarthy, Ben Simms, Reuben Curran and Charlie Gribbons; an indie rock quartet formed in the suburban back gardens of Bangor, during the ‘Great Toilet Paper Famine’ of 2020.
They have been picking up plaudits ever since, including: BBC Introducing “Ones to Watch”; Daily Mirror Top 50 records of the year; Hot Press “Hot for 2025”; and Belfast Telegraph “10 best home grown acts to keep your eye on in 2025”.
:Panic :Over’s anthemic, stadium-rousing sound has already captured the attention of producers and organisers of Global Sporting Events; UEFA chose ‘Part of Something’ for the official song of the u19s Euros 2024 Opening Ceremony, ‘Paper Planes’ featured on ITV Sport’s big closing montage of the Eng vs Ire 6 Nations Rugby clash, and the BBC & ITV picked up 3 tracks from their debut album, in their Euro24 coverage – to audiences of over 20 million.
Hot Press – “Panic Over are destined for a MASSIVE 2025”
Belfast Telegraph – “You can bet the house on Panic Over having a belter of a year in 2025”
Sunday Life – “Vocals call to mind Rufus Wainwright… Electrifying guitar solos & explosive percussion”
Carly Reid, Director of Sync – WMG “We’re excited to get to work with Panic Over – the ONLY Irish band signed to W Songs”
Daily Mirror – “Debut album [False Alarm] references Bloc Party’s intricate guitar lines with Interpol’s jagged angular punch – sprinkling in a few massive choruses for effect”
Mark Davyd, CEO – Music Venues Trust
“Fantastic new band… The room [@USC] was packed – PACKED! That’s what you want to see”
