Owner of the most powerful shoulders in Ireland, Louise O’ Neill is an author and a weekly columnist with the Irish Examiner. Her debut novel, Only Ever Yours, won multiple awards and is currently being adapted for screen by Killer Films. Her second novel, Asking For It, was a number 1 bestseller and was named the overall Book of The Year at the Irish Book Awards 2015. Bandit Television have acquired the TV rights. She is also the presenter of the Asking For It, an RTÉ documentary about rape culture in Ireland.
Gearóid Farrelly’s is a regular at Irish comedy festivals and has completed national tours with PJ Gallagher, Neil Delamere and Maeve Higgins. He has also supported Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne and Rich Hall in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre. Recently Sarah Millican asked him to support her for some dates on her recent UK tour. His stand-up appearances for television include “Stand & Deliver”, “Tonight With Craig Doyle” and as a guest of Ardal O’Hanlon for Dave’s “One Night Stand”. In 2012 he made his solo debut at the Edinburgh Festival with his show “Turbulence” winning a five star review in the process
On TV Gearóid is probably best known for playing Pat the conjoined-twin of Gerry (PJ Gallagher) in “Meet Your Neighbours” (RTE). He was also a regular on “The Panel”. He has also notched up appearances in “The Savage Eye”, “Maeve Higgins Fancy Vittles”, “Ireland’s Top 30 TV Moments”, “The Lucy Kennedy Show” and “The Blame Game” on BBC1.
