Multi-instrumentalists and Singer Songwriters Darragh Purcell and Evan Flaherty ( formally Scoth ) have emerged to form their new venture The Awning.
Their unique brand of ethereal folk combines traditional elements with lush production and other-worldly harmonies (akin to Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes)
The duo are vastly experienced, coming off an impressive 2023 having played a plethora of high profile shows such as Whelans Ones to Watch, Indiependence Festival Cork as well as Masters of Tradition in Bantry alongside long time influence Sam Amidon under the Scoth moniker.
