H-ci, aka Shane O’Donovan, is a Dublin based electronic music composer/ Jazz

drummer. Shane’s music is heavily influenced by electronic music artists such as Aphex

Twin, Autechre, and Boards of Canada, but also incorporates elements of contemporary

Jazz and avant-garde. Shane’s love for both synthesizers and drumming can be clearly

heard in his music. Complex layers of rhythm are created through the use of drum

machines as well as live recording of acoustic drums, while the melodic content is almost

exclusively synthesizer based.
