Alison Spittle is hosting her own chat show upstairs in The Vintage Room of The Workman’s Club, Dublin. With Guests : Tara Flynn and No Monster Club and Aidan Power

“Coming soon and live from The Workman’s, it’s The Alison Spittle Show with your host Alison Spittle. Alison is a stand-up from Mulingar who most recent show, “… Discovers Hawaii”, was twice nominated for awards at the Tiger Dublin Fringe. She’s made numerous radio and TV appearance including Today FM’s Antwon Savage Show and Republic Of Telly and performs sketches every month at The Mess Around, Dublin’s stupidest comedy night. Alison’s hosting work for RTE’s coverage at Electric Picnic gave her a hunger for hosting that only a chat show could satisfy and The Alison Spittle Show was born. It’s like a regular Irish chat show except it’s intentionally funny, deliberately daft and will leave you feeling good about yourself. Joining Alison is her house band, Dublin indie heroes No Monster Club. Alison’s first guess is comedian and author Tara Flynn. Also joining Alison is Aidan Power, a television and radio presenter with RTÉ who most recently presented Shakedown The Town. An old hand at chat shows, Aidan helmed RTÉ’s The Cafe for years as well as NickL8R for Nickelodeon in the UK, so he’ll have some hard-learned advice for Alison on maiden chat voyage.
The show is on All Hallow’s Eve Eve (October 30th) at 8PM so bring a costume if you want, but only if you want.
