THE THREE PROPHETS
APRIL 17TH, 7PM, FREE ENTRY
The Three Prophets pride themselves on their individuality and their unique perspective on music as a whole. Their debut studio album, Empty Vessels, releasing on February 14th is a collage and one-of-a-kind fusion of synth-pop, orchestral, samba, industrial, French waltz, minimalist, soul, funk, jazz and pop music. An ambitious concept album, it tells of an alien being called Bogdan enslaving and deceiving The Three Prophets, while interweaving this narrative with hard-hitting bops. This debut gig in Dublin’s The Workman’s Club is an opportunity not to be missed, and follows the well-received concert series performed by The Three Prophets in Maynooth. In an effort to expand their audience, tickets for this gig are being offered free of charge, with the only price to pay being participation. Appearing in the upstairs Vintage Room of Workman’s, this gig promises to be exciting and out of the ordinary, attendance is essential for any music lover.
