Live Tonite presents: Triangulo de Amor Bizarro, Spanish indie post-punk band live at the Workman’s Club on February 29th, 2024 from 8 pm.

Live Tonite is proud to present to Triangulo de Amor Bizarro the indie/post punk/shoegaze/noise band, with fifteen years as a reference in the Spanish-speaking underground, their reputation is always at its peak.

Coming to Ireland for the first time to present their sixth album “$€Ð”, a worldly and earthly album that deals with the primitive emotions of characters in a hostile, unequal, and tech driven world where time flies by.

Throughout their career, they have received multiple awards and have recorded with Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3, Panda Bear, MGMT), Manny Nieto (Health, The Breeders, Circle Jerks, etc.), and Carlos Hernández (Los Planetas, Carolina Durante, etc.). They were part of Damon Albarn’s Africa Express project, sharing the stage with members of Led Zeppelin, Guillemots, and El Guincho. My Bloody Valentine chose them to open their performance in Mexico City. Peter Hook (New Order) has recommended the group in the press. Luis Cerveró (Justice, Pharrell, etc.) has directed two of their music videos.

They created an album based on the song “No eres tú,” consisting of 17 tracks with 8D binaural mixing, which in digital format can be listened to in infinite random mode with continuous structural change. They are the only independent scene group with the majority of their discography in spatial audio.

“Impossible to surpass… And they do it again” (Carne Cruda)

“The best Spanish pop and rock group of the last three decades” (Jenesaispop)

“Triángulo has been practicing rupture since time immemorial” (MondoSonoro)

“In a normal world, it should be unlikely for Triángulo de Amor Bizarro to make a better album than Salve discordia, but no” (Cadena Ser)

“It’s just what we expect from a group like this. Attitude, formal eloquence, nonconformity, teeth clenching the prey” (Rockdelux)

“We don’t know how they do it, but they surpass themselves with each new release” (Time Out)

“How much talent they have, what envy of them, and at the same time, what pride to be able to enjoy them” (Hipersónica)

On February 26th, Ireland-based fans will have the opportunity to witness their unique show at The Workman’s Club, Main Room (+18 event, no refund).
