DETAILS
With a fresh lick of paint and the installation of a brand new state-of-the-art PA system, the main 300-capacity venue has never looked and sounded so good.
Musicians really enjoy performing here, Mike Kerr from Royal Blood noted of their gig: “It was awesome, one of the best shows we’ve ever done” and we’re happy to take Muse’s Chris Wolstenholme’s love when he said The Workman’s Club was “an amazing place!”.
For our guests viewing pleasure, the sight-lines from every part of the venue are spot-on, and camera-friendly too, with First Aid Kit, Anna Calvi and Villagers among those who’ve had their live performances filmed here. Choice Music Prize winner Jape made a video in our music hall and RTE filmed some of their Raw series here.
Along with our own in-house booking team, The Workman’s Club work with outside promoters like MCD, Aiken Promotions and a multitude of independent agencies, to bring the best Irish and international talent to Wellington Quay.
